Dear Friends,

I am thrilled to announce that Luis & I are following our hearts and dreams and moving to the legendary colonial town of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

We have purchased a charming hotelito (little hotel) inspired by the magic of old Mexico. Follow the transformation of our Casita on Instagram @CasitaSanMiguel and through our website We’d love for you to come & stay!
We will be closing our Seattle shop & studio by early April 2018. I have loved being a part of the Seattle community, an opportunity that will forever impact how I create jewelry. I will always cherish what the shop has meant to me. I am filled with wonderful memories! I’ll continue to craft my jewelry collection from beautiful San Miguel. River Song jewelry will be available as always on our website and through our retailers around the country. In Seattle you will still be able to find our pieces at a few of our favorite stores in Seattle, Liten, A Mano & Hedgerow in Edison.
Mexico’s cultural riches are endlessly inspiring, from dynamic indigenous craft to folkloric imagery. We will continue to foster our artisan partnerships, and look forward to offering you more modern Mexican crafts.
There are no words to describe my gratitude for each one of you. Your support over these last 15 years has transformed my life in immeasurable ways, giving me the opportunity to create with my hands meaning, great joy and beauty. Through River Song we are citizens of the world, preserving ancient skills & investing in the real work of artists, creating community & connection across cultural divides. We are forming lifelong friendships & tangible happy memories.
Follow along on our adventure on Instagram @RiverSongJewels.
This is not adios but hasta luego.

River & River Song

A tangible happy memory.

Began in 2004 as a winter reprieve from organic farming, River draws inspiration from the natural world. Our jewelry evokes the essence of the earth. Each piece is carefully crafted by hand, preserving its authentic nature.

From 2009-2018 we operated a retail & studio space in Seattle, WA. Our boutique showcased the River Song collection and features the work of other international artists. We enjoy connecting with our customers. As they respond to our jewelry, it inspires the pieces we design.

In 2018 River & River Song moved to the colonial town of San Miguel de Allende in Guanajuato, Mexico.

We design two collections a year that are sold at small specialty boutiques that cherish handmade creations. We work with stores that share our principals, to support small artists & responsible fair-trade business.
